Since I started to write something for Harry about my trip to Russia, I thought I might as well reuse/expand my notes and share this experience with more people. This is my first real day in Petersburg and I am full of good intentions - I don't guarantee they will last, but I'll try! I'll even try and make an effort and take pictures, something which I don't like and at which I'm really bad. We'll see what happens! Now I'm at home, waiting for my landlady who's promised to lend me a cell phone and to help me out with the registration process. Meanwhile, my computer has magically started to speak Russian.
